recommended & proven to be a reliable product

Do not buy - Not worth the time or money
This kit runs off vacuum pressure and is controlled by actuators. You can use any type of vacuum pressure, for testing purposes you can test off your brake booster vacuum hose. If you don't have enough vacuum pressure, say if you're running a smaller sized engine <2.0l, then it isn't enough pressure to actually pull the cable that is connected to your throttle body. Also, the pressure in the throttle body spring is greater than the tension that is created by the vacuum pressure in the manifold of this unit, thus you will not have enough pressure to even get past the spring tension and it will never work. Also, any slight bend (around 20%) in the cable running from this unit to your throttle body gives too much tension and again reduces the strength this unit has. I would stay clear of this product, it is old technology and is a scam that they charge $300 for this. I would recommend an electronic version for your car with the ability to not use this old "push-bike" style pulse magnets from the drive shaft. Took a bit to sort out
I followed the instructions and fitted it as per what it said for a front wheel drive car and was sadly disappointed. Cruise control wouldn’t work above 80 kmh. Read the instructions again and cut the specified wire and went for another drive . This time it didn’t work below 100kmh. Read the instructions again and hidden in a paragraph it mentioned that some front wheel cars may need 3 magnets instead of 2 to work. Took it for a drive and cruise control didn’t work at all. This time I ignored the instructions, reconnected the cut wire, removed 2 magnets and left one installed. Took it for a drive and the cruise control worked perfectly, just like all of the other ones that I have installed. Lacking ???/
No fitting instructions for fitting to landcruiser HZJ 75 with after market Turbo fitted !\ poor pulse pickup on tailshaft as the vechicle is made for off road use when using magnets tied to tailshaft which would last 5 minutes !! Of hares and tortoises......
Long drawn out process to get this thing working. If you own a 75 series or earlier Landcruiser, go for the AP60 A model. The B, after long and an expensive process of trying to get the thing working, does not work. Unsure why but after great support from George at Command and my auto electrician, Glenn, it goes. Not too flash as it is vacuum not electronic and is very slow to respond and quick to shut off, but hey, saves speeding fines when you do 000's of k's every week.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Take you time and it works very well.
Good quality kit, lots of adaptors and installation extras. If you take your time and are careful with fitting, you can have a very neat install. Could be an Expensive problem.
Bought this a little while ago. Everything installed after testing all components. Cannot get to operate. Everything checks out perfect when tested in the hand but when put in vehicle, nothing seems to operate as it should or doesn't work at all. An Electrical Fitter Mechanic shouldn't have this much trouble with over 50yrs experience behind him. The model this one replaces (AP60) is the far better.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
