This Review Is For NOS Tesla KT88 Tubes
Just recieved these tubes 2 days ago and they sounded real nice fresh out of the box. These tubes have a very powerful and deep bass , the mids are sweet and the highs are very clean and clear. The guitars resonance and harmonics come through quite nicely. The amp being used is a Frenzel FM763 SVR. These tubes are great for a guitar amp and would probably be even better in a bass amp due to the very strong bass tones. 17 Aug 2017 these tubes have been in my amp for more than 2.5 months now (about 200 hours) and they sound better than ever. Huge value KT88
i find this tube very sonic worthy. it has a well rounded freq response the bass is very deep the highs sparkle nicely, liquid mids . for around a hundred bucks for 4 is a steal for the preformance. i expect these to go up when other audio people discover them. I even find them better than the Russian/Genelex gold lions I rate those highly also. but these Tesla's will make your amp sing. an interesting tube rolling adventure . Killer power tubes!!!!!
