Superb but poor ending.
Storyline is great, extremely well written and superb acting by all the cast, was totally engaging. Unfortunately the end of the second series was literally a disaster with the author throwing the cast and set under a bus, or plane in this case. What a shame to totally collapse a series that could have run and run.

Step back in time to the start of WW2, through the lives of a small village.
Love this series, hope they add some more. It’s set in 1939/40 and is an intriguing insight into the lives of one small village. Follow the day to day business of the characters and how the war creeps into the fabric of their everyday lives.

Home fires review
