Worth every penny
I've been wanting one of these for years and was finally able to purchase one. Comes with everything but a 9v battery. Very easy to use, my stereo system sounds absolutely amazing now that I've used this. No more fear of clipping and distortion that I couldn't pick up on myself. If you don't have one I highly recommend you get it.

AWESOME TOOL for serious audio gearheads!
Have not actually used it yet, but my initial impression upon receiving the product is that it is very well made, easy to use, and purpose built expressly for setting the gain levels throughout your audio system for optimal performance. It is also evident that I will be able to use this tool for properly setting the gain structure on my mobile DJ system as well. Great tool for my pro audio gear as well as my car stereo system. Very happy with my purchase. I wish I had one of these 10 years ago!

A must have.
Awesome tool to have if you like to save your speakers from distortion and want clarity from your stereo sytem. Very easy to use. Pricey for what it is but well worth it for time and technology that was put into it.

DD1 is awesome
I thought I had my amp gains set correctly before using the DD1. I was wrong, this tool makes it so easy to get them right. Made a great improvement in sound output.

Honestly I would give this piece of equipment 10 stars, the instructions are extremely easy to follow and a must have for anyone who wants their audio system to play and sound at it's very best potential..

You don't be disappointed.
It does what it's supposed to and does it well. You can use other methods to set your gains but this is fast and accurate. The price is a little high but it is what it is. SMD is a name in the industry synonymous with high caliber products. You won't be disappointed.

Wish I would have purchased this tool years ago. Thank you Steve Mead for your dedication to the car audio world! This made my sound system clean and louder. This tool will help prevent costly repairs usually caused from driving distortion through your amplifiers.
