Every Card is Gorgeous!
I admit to purchasing this deck solely because of the artwork. The cards are so well done and utterly gorgeous. A friend had a deck she let me go through last year because I was considering creating one of my own. She pulled this one out and I was blown away. It didn't hurt that the size is just right for my large hands. The finish is crisp and bright. Just an all-around beautiful deck. A true esoteric Tarot deck that has the feel and presence of a dreamier oracle deck.
Beautifully rendered and powerful paintings that feel true to the Tarot tradition yet uniquely otherworldly. Cards are thick and sturdy, with silvered edges. Addition of card titles in the 2nd edition is useful for quickly learning the new deck. No words can really grasp
No words can really grasp the depth of this deck. I never got the first version so I can’t compare the two but I really love the card stock of these and the gunmetal finish of the edges. The box insert/design could have been better but I’m in love with the journey The Mary El has taken me on so far.
