You truly get what you pay for!
The price of these Elixir strings was much cheaper than what I usually pay. I should have know something was up! I put a set on my guitar and where they usually last me for at least a month, THESE were dead sounding in a WEEK!!! I had this pappen once before as I bought Elixir strings that came from CHINA! Excellent strings
I used D'Addario EJ16's for quite a while but didn't like how they lasted or the tone after the first few days. Thought I'd try Elixirs, and because I'm over 70 and have "thin skin" on fingers, went from 12's to 11's. Put them on my high-end dreadnought and they run the Adirondack top just fine!
