Great Saw
This is really a nice saw, I rated it a 4 because it didn’t have a laser line, but never the less it is light enough to handle with one hand and the adjustable guide bar is easy to use. I am a Dewalt fan to begin with and have many of there tools. It’s a good choice for a small saw and it is powerful enough to cut through 2x4 material easily. It does consume power so you need the proper battery that Dewalt recommends or larger.

Great little saw
Great saw. Decent power. Good battery life. Like the built in stud hook. Dust port work phenomenally well. The only down side is the port connector. Not sure what it is designed to fit. I had to rig a hose adapter to make it work.

The best Dewalt circular saw
I'm a professional carpenter and I'm very happy with this great compact circular saw, he make me my job too easy, have lots of power, dust extraction , brushless motor allows the battery to last a long time and you can use it to cuts osb,plywood, laminate, hardwood, 2x4 timbers. Dewalt build perfect saw for me👍

Nice saw.
I previously owned an old 9.6v Makita trim saw. This Dewalt trim saw is larger and heavier, but is comfortable to use and much more powerful. A great addition to my other 20v Dewalt power tools.

It has it’s place
A bit under power I tried 2amp and 8amp battery 2amp got hot the 8amp got warm but not like 2amp when it got super warm motor was stopping it has it place easy to use

Really nice compact circular saw from Dewalt.
Picked this little saw up for my wife to help finish with some deck & stair projects. It is so much handier than pulling out the 7 1/4" corded circular saw for making a bunch of cuts. I bought a set of generic 6.5 amp batteries and a fast charger for it as the standard 1.5 amp Dewalt batteries we have worked but did not give many cuts and the standard slow charger is to slow for these big batteries. Overall solid construction and a good value as I go this saw in near new condition for a fraction of a new one. It will be a quality go to tool for some time and help finish some of the last renovation projects in our home.

Best saw for small jobs in hard to reach places
Good ergonomics, powerful, truely portable. You can hang it from your tool belt and climb a ladder to make a cut. No cord to get in the way or limit where you can reach. Depth control works great and its easy to adjust. I'm likin' it a lot

A very handy saw!!
I have used the circular saw twice. Seems to be well balanced and very easy to visually see the cutting line; I did not get a dust collector bag with the saw. I'm not sure why it was not included. Please send me information about attaining one. Thank you.

Best Little Saw
Best little saw I've ever used!! The balance and control of this saw is incredible. I recently used it to trim counter tops as well as 3/4" subfloor and with a 3 ah battery, it had no issues getting through the materials. The saw had plenty of power and it never died. Why would you want to pull out the "big saw" when this little giant will do the job?

Great for plywood/Particle board cuts
If you are buying just 1 portable saw get the 71/4 inch blade saw and forget this purchase. Otherwise this saw is awesome easy to use and light weight and makes a great companion to Larger blade saw.
