Simple probe - good quality!
This Type K probes is as simple as it gets. It's a welded bead bare thermocouple with teflon insulated leads, so it's not suitable in all applications. I use it with a Fluke 287 logging meter. Plug in and measure. It's well made and should last a long time if handled carefully. Original OEM thermister by fluke.
For the price your hard pressed to not see this is a excellent deal. Fluke appears to have gotten away from this design and now uses a adapter to convert to the traditional K style thermisters from a banana jack. High temperature TC for low temperature Work
This is a type K thermocouple goes up to about 2300 F, 1260 C. This one has plastic insulation where this type of TC would normally have a high temperature fiber insulation around it.
