Seems to Work
Installed this replacement part (easily, using an online video) about ten days ago. Works just fine. My only niggling complaint, and it's minor, is that I wish the two small hoses from the inlet valves to the detergent dispenser were about 1/2-inch longer for each one - - they are just a tad shorter than I would have liked. I left the "Is this a good value?" answer blank because it's difficult for me to answer that question - - replacement appliance parts always seem to me to be more expensive than they should be.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Exactly what the washer needed.
Exactly what I needed in order to fix pestering slow drip from where the water enters the drum. If I would leave the door open just a crack, I would have a puddle on my floor. Only thing it could be was the inlet valve. Clean both of the hose attachments, replaced the inlet valve with said product, Bam! no more drip or puddles. An OEM replacement part
It is an OEM replacement part. The part received was the original OEM part (part number W10509710); not the replacement part (part number W10599356) as shown above. Whirlpool says both parts are the correct part. Replacing the valves stopped the cold water line from thumping. In testing the valves the resistance on all three coils showed the same and the ac line voltage was constant across each coil when activated. I think a part of the cold water valve must have broken inside the housing; that caused the cold water pipe to keep thumping when the cold water valve was turn on.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
