Part of television's golden era, the series first aired in 1957, but really grew in popularity with later audiences when it ran as repeats. The picture of a perfect 1950s family, the Cleavers consisted of troublemaking Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver (Jerry Mathers), too-perfect big brother Wally (Tony Dow), wise dad Ward (Hugh Beaumont), and eager-to-please housewife June (Barbara Billingsley). Thanks to the influence of his friend and ally in crime, Eddie Haskell (Ken Osmond), Beaver never goes too long without getting into some kind of mess. But with some of his mom's home cooking and his dad's sage advice, Beaver always sorts it out in the end.

Leave it to Beaver -- an Excellent Family Show
My grandkids thoroughly loved getting to know Beaver and Wally. Even though the shows were all in b/w, my boys didn't care about that. They just fell in love with Beaver and hated it when he got into trouble, many times through no fault of his own. They loved it that Wally usually tried helping him out, but unfortunately, then Wally got in trouble for doing so.

The Beav! Still great to watch!
What can I say? Its the Beaver! Still funny and applicable family life after all these years. I still love it. So will you. The first disc was messed up on 2 episodes tho but I've had brand new ones like that. I still love it.

This is a good show to watch that is family oriented and episodes and good story lines that show real life stories about parents and their children. Can not go wrong watching Leave it to Beaver

Love the show product is fair quality some of the episodes are skipping and voices doesn't match but not too bad!
