An Overlooked Suspense Gem
Wonderful suspense/drama starring Jane Fonda as an alcoholic who wakes up from a blackout to find herself in bed with a murdered man. Did she kill him, or is someone setting her up to take the blame for a crime they committed? Can she (aided by Jeff Bridges as a former police officer) find the answers before she's arrested? Beautifully directed by Sidney Lumet, it's a thrill a minute from beginning to end. A terrific, yet often overlooked film.

Very engaging movie...great plot not just the same old thing..Jane Fonda again shows her supreme acting ability.. highly recommend a watch.
