Deceptive in a very crafty way
This book promotes false teaching for Christians. It would be okay if it were NOT promoted as a Christian book but a book for mystics. It is very misleading and deceptive. The Bible is sufficient for the church and Christians; Foster states the Bible is not sufficient, and he is going to tell us what is missing. Sad. He quotes Catholic mystic, Thomas Merton often. Merton, a Catholic mystic, Trappist Monk, who dabbled in the occult and was a staunch pantheist. Merton was considered more Buddhist than catholic. Many deceivers are out there, and Foster's goal is syncretism. He is very crafty in his deceptiveness.
