Better than I could have imagined...
I really didn't think another Beatles history was necessary...but friends suggested this, so OK. Well, this is the book that brings together all sources, does the weeding out of inconsistencies, and where "interpretation" is needed, gives you the author's careful reasoning. All of that wouldn't matter if this huge volume was a hard read, or a gigantic compendium of facts: it is nearly conversational, has flow and energy. It is fun to read!
