Wonderfully acted, quintessential Indo British drama.
Possibly the best historical drama the UK has produced. Has lasting appeal, despite the terrible nature of the Raj and it's terrible oppression of the Indian peoples and the atrocity that was partition. Tremendous cast, beautifully acted, it will never fade from being the best series the British have ever done.
