Best DVD I bought this year.
I am very impressed with the product, not only since the packaging is professionally done but the recordings are much better quality than I expected since this is the original series. Easily HD which is surprising since Series 1 was transmitted in 1988. The monologues are fascinating and thought provoking. There isn't a bad one among them. I believe a couple of them won awards but I am glad I didn't have to choose which one(s) since they are all excellent.

Drat
This was a used set of 3 dvds; the first was rejected by my mac but fortunately I use a dell too and with some fiddling about I was able to access the content. The other 2 dvds were fine. As I bought the set (tremendous value) for an item on the first dvd this damage caused me some consternation as you may imagine, but with some force, as I say, dell enabled me to view it - lucky I have more than just a mac!

Lovely set of monologues!
Alan Bennett is a great storyteller. Each of the monologues is spot on - and superbly performed by accomplished actors.

Talking heads
My wife had never seen "Talking heads" so I bought the dvd to show her what she was missing. She like the way the stories where made..

Fantastic series
I was pleased to revisit this engaging series, reminding myself of Alan Bennett's superb writing skills and the actors brilliant portrayals. I would highly recommend these brilliant monologues!

Classic television drama
Talking heads is television drama of the highest quality and it has been a delight to reacquaint with these classic tales and performances.
