Excellent! This will prepare students entering or in 1st grade what to expect in learning & tips on how to handle tests.
This book has it all!!! READING-Word Analysis, Vocabulary, Reading comprehension, LANGUAGE-Listening skills, Language mechanics, Language Expression, Spelling, Study Skills, MATH-Concepts, Computation, Applications, SCIENC-Environment, Seasons/Mammals, Matter: Liquids, and SOCIAL STUDIES-Family, Changes in the Community, and Maps. There are sample tests, skill lessons which includes clues for completing the activity, etc, and a comprehensive practice tests which includes a separate answer sheet with "bubbles" to be filled in for answers. The questions are age appropriate. This is an amazing book that have similar test questions and formats that have been used in schools. I, myself, remember taking these types of exams as a child.
