Product Information

When the Towani family crash their Starcruiser onto the planet Endor, the children, Cindel and Mace, are separated from their parents, who have been kidnapped by the evil monster Gorax. Now they must rescue their parents, but first they endeavor to befriend the shy, resourceful Ewoks, whose aid will prove integral to their operation. After the successful completion of their mission and the recovery of the Towani parents, the group must defend the Ewok community from the invasion of a foreign enemy. Cindel and the Ewok Wicket escape into the forest, where they meet a couple of people who, like them, have been stranded on the forest moon planet after an accident in their Starcruiser. Together the group does battle with the invaders, and tries to find a way off of Endor.

Great family friendly movies, from the early-mid 1980"s.
I saw the STAR WARS EWOK ADVENTURES: CARAVAN OF COURAGE when it first came out as a kid, but don't remember seeing THE BATTLE FOR ENDOR. It is good to have them in my STAR WARS collection now. They are both family films. Please be advised both of these films take place on Endor before Star Wars: Return of the Jedi timeline though. They may still be Star Wars-related, but do NOT have any real content (other than the the setting place of Endor), so this does NOT interfere with what is canon, legend, or alternate universe of Star Wars. The only thing I can say about the setting or anything associated with Endor, is the fact IF you may have played the M.M.O. Star Wars Galaxies, which had in that game alot of what may have been in these 2 movies...(examples: ewoks, the gorax, etc.).

New quality. Dad's blast from the past.
My dad has been wanting to show me these movies for years. When he finally remembered what they were called we searched everywhere for them. He was sad that we couldn't find them on streaming so I ordered this for our birthday. The DVD looked brand new and was wrapped in the standard plastic. At one point there almost seemed like there was a blip in the playback on the first side but it very well could have just been the recording. There were no other issues with the disk or the packaging.

forgotten star wars
These movies were some of my favorite TV movies as a child. It is so fun to be able to rewarch them now as a grown up. Although they are silly fairytale stories they are better than some of the Star Wars content that is coming out today.

Star War EWOK ADVENTURE!
I didn’t realize there was a side movie about Ewok adventure! I’m a Star Wars fan! I love this movie! As long I’m all caught up then I’m glad!

the dvd came very quickly, was good value. I have not watched it. I purchased the dvd to go with all the Star Wars Discs i have.

Two of my childhood favorites!
Being an uber Star Wars fan, these movies have always been a gem to me. I like every aspect of the franchise, even Jar Jar doesn't bug me much! The Ewok Adventure was one of my earliest recollections for movies when I was just a young boy. Always will be a part of my universe, and we'll worth the watch, especially if you are a Star Wars fan who loved the Ewoks like I did.

Old school Star War fun
Two made-for-TV episodes based on the Ewok characters of the Star Wars series were entertaining for the family. Typical 80s is budget, despite being Star Wars-based, makes some special effects and costumes look cheesy compared to today's CGI capabilities, but entertaining nonetheless.

Ewoks Stories Made for Television
Though not canon, I wanted to see this. I saw the first movie as a child. These movies are not great. They are full of bad acting, continuity errors, and mediocre writing. It is still interesting as part of the Star Wars Expanded Universe/Legends. Give this a try. Children might enjoy it more. I love the Ewoks!

These "lost" Star Wars films are worth a watch. The sequel one is actually pretty darn good and my kids loved them both!
