In diesem Buch sind, wie der Titel schon vermuten lässt, die zwölf TaeKwonDo Hyong's beschrieben. Es gibt ausführliche Erklärungen mit guten Abbildungen, um das Lernen dieser klassischen TaeKwonDo Formen zu erleichtern und das Training zu unterstützen. Man sollte allerdings keinesfalls nur aus Büchern lernen, denn dabei gehen bestimmte Bewegungsabläufe unter Umständen verloren, da auf Bildern nicht jedes Detail zu erkennen ist. Trainingsunterstützend dient das Buch, wie schon gesagt, als große Hilfe. Ich habe mir das Buch gekauft, weil ich mich über die Formen im TaeKwonDo weiter informieren wollte, wie zum Beispiel über deren Bedeutung und ich war auf der Suche nach Erläuterungen bestimmter Techniken (positive/negative Auswirkungen, ist es ein Block oer kann die Technik auch als Angriff dienen?, etc.). Hierauf antwortet das Buch leider nicht immer zufriedenstellend. Als ich mit dem Taekwondo anfing empfahl mir mein Sabum (5.Dan) schon dieses Buch. Heute 16 Jahre später kann ich es jedem Anfänger und Fortgeschrittenen selbst nur wärmstens empfehlen. Diese Buch beschreibt präzise die Angriffs- und Verteidigungstechniken des Taekwondo und begleitet den Sportler bis zum 2. Dan. Ungeeignet für Theoretiker, dafür um so wertvoller für Praktiker. Gehört in in die Enzyklopädie eines jeden Teakwondo - Sportlers.

Sehr empfehlenswert für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene. Sehr gutes Nachschlagewerk. Nur das ständige aktive Training ist noch besser.
