Really great series of Thought Provocations- Heightened awareness through the ideas
As with all Jane Roberts Seth books, the reader should understand the assumptions of the writers perspective before expecting life changing revelations from Seth works. The authors make it very clear that the writing is from a channeled entity named Seth (both she and her husband are co writers of these works). If you do not believe in out-of-body individuals who can channel their view through a human, then this is probably not a book for you... If you believe that individuals without human bodies are evil, or don't believe in a soul ( like consciousness after death), then this is probably not the book for you.. ......unless, of course, you are looking to change that view, or wanted to read like a fairy tale or clinical perspective- or simply wanted some thought provoking viewpoints!! It IS possible to simply read Seth books without feeling limited by the source of the writings, because the ideas are fresh and eye opening! Seth breaks down some pretty complex ideas into simple analogies- easy to read. I also like that the co authors kept the work uncensored, and on-the-nose technical...you can read the work from a documentary perspective, or from an inclusive authors notes perspective ( things that are going on with the authors personal life usually), or simply the channeled work of Seth...it gives rich layers to the book- making any Seth book, a new read again, and again. A lot of concepts in the books are things to ponder and consider, and apply...you don't need to read many pages either- the work can be very concentrated. If you enjoy metaphysical but also more scientific approaches to quantum and layers of reality, you will probably enjoy these books. Any Seth book is a good book to start with, although "Seth Speaks" truly is a good beginner book- it's easy to hop around and get what your looking for, in your own unique way, by picking whichever Seth book you run across or desire. Seth is a soup stock book for spiritual growth, awakening, ascension, growth..etc..The work is an essential for anyone 'on the path' looking to enrich their personal wisdom. The book don't ever get crusty, and you can get new inspiration from the same words years later- the book doesn't stay dusty on the shelf.
