worth seeing
endeavour 1-4 series which I have now seen in sequence is in my opinion excellent entertainment.each episode has a good story line as well as an on going link to the personal lives of the characters in the following episodes/series.good character casting,good acting,i could,nt fault the year settings of the sets,great directing,must surely be british!especially good acting and casting of shaun evans roger allum and anton lesser

Great tv
What a great series! The characters are so engaging with the young Morse suitably spare and troubled set against the rough diamond Thursday played perfectly by the charismatic Roger Allam and complimented by the thoughtful spikey Anton Lesser. Great production values relieve any wonky story lines ... engaging period piece as well... compulsive box set material. Watch out for hidden film and book references.

Morse + Thursday, must watch tv.Dixon of Dock Green it is not.
The prequel to morse, but, a stand alone series in its own right. Very well acted and captures the era perfectly,the changing face of police work. A classic to be watched again at a later date.
