Engine operates as one would expect from a modern Marklin product. I was surprised when I read on page 22 of the operating manual that:
"This locomotive model has finely designed running gear. This may limit the operating reliability when going against turnouts (on C and K Track) and when running on older M track."
No sales brochure mentioned this, but so far I had no problems on running the engine on my older M track.
