A lot of money, but a lot of technology too..
Initially I will confess, I got this because the original controller after hours of relentless play and being tossed with frustration at times, was not as responsive after 4 years of abuse “hangs head in shame :/“ This had a lot to live up to!! And it does with an all singing, all dancing ease of effortless style and technology. It can be customised like Paris Hilton’s wardrobe for every fussy gamer type and even for different types of games and play styles. It’s wireless or wired depending on charge, with a huge connecting cable too. I love it and so far it’s worth the investment.. Quality, Design, Function. All A+(+)
I bought it as faulty (Left bumper Not Working) It needed a new micro switch which cost £1.99 and took me an hour to disassemble, remove & replace the switch then reassemble. It doesn't have any special fixings, just 00 phillips head screws. It is simply the best controller I have ever used. Comfortable, precise, High quality and can be used either wired or wireless with a dongle for the PS4 or PC. Buttons can be remapped. Better.
This can be tricky to set up. The Nacon website is dreadful. However, the level of control and customisation leaves other controllers for dead, will make you a better player and definitely give you an edge. Compared to a Sony DualShock 4 it is more solidly built, has better button ‘feel’, is more definite and ‘clicky’ and, of course, it is vastly more adjustable. It’s finish ensures it won’t slip, even it’s weight can be changed and it is very precise. My advice? Buy it, enjoy, don’t endure the process. It’ll be worth it. Update: some reviewers have suggested longevity problems. Mine has been in regular, if not quite obsessive use, for 10 months with no discernible shelving-off of performance - the unit DOES benefit from a good clean every so often including around the joystick sockets (be gentle).
