No app to bluetooth cash register
This cash register is sold by a 'worldwide service' with an EU plug so you might think it would work worldwide or at least in the EU. However, the essential bluetooth app, Casio ECR+, is not available for download in Google Play or Apple App Store in my region (EU I guess), and since the app is The selling point for the Casio S500 e.g. over the cheaper S400, I will not recommend this buy to anybody in my region, nor do I think it is good value. I have written with Casio, Technical Support, Systems Division, UK. They simply state that the lack of access to the app is due to 'business decisions'. Btw. this is not mentioned anywhere public... Though, I do find the quality of the cash register itself and its functions excellent, which is what I expect from Casio, I think the missing app is so severe, that I now look at support quality from Casio in quit an other way than before..
