Expensive but looks great when flame function is on.
I’ve not had it for long enough to give a proper review and as it’s summer we’ve not used the heater, to be fair we probably won’t use the heater anyway as we have CH, the flame effect is great, the door does mist up when it’s on full but if you open the door slightly it soon clears up. The remote is pretty rubbish the on/off function is ok but the flame up down function doesn’t work well and you have to be really close to the fire for it to work at all. The logs don’t look that good when the flame function isn’t on but they look great when it is. The flame looks amazing, honestly it looks so realistic and the smoke effect is brilliant. Overall I think it’s a lovely fire it’s quite expensive but it’s the most realistic electric stove I’ve seen and definitely the best you’ll get without a actual log burner.

Opti-myst stove
Absolutely love this Dimplex Gosford electric stove. It was easy to put together when we received it and looks so authentic when on. Great looking fire.
Excellent fire and looks great in my fire surround. Loved my old gas fire but it was dead and just an ornament now. This optimist fire with its smoke effect looks so realistic and the price was just too good to ignore. Delivery was quicker than expected an installation simple.
