Nostalgia ain't what it used to be...
The sound was magical when I was a kid - now it's simple melodies dressed up with antique sound effects. Joe Meek was a genius with what the equipment had to work with - but it's the sound of early sci-fi with pastel coloured pyjamas, silver paper and purple monsters with quivering tentacles.

Thanks for the memory
This brought back many memories. It had all the Tornados hits that I have on vinyl. They had such a different sound. All in all a good value CD.

Great CD
Bought the CD as there was a couple of songs that I remember quite well which were good to listen to again, but then again I am a 60's music fan.
