A must for Kool and the Gang Fans
Don't let the slightly tacky cover put you off... Pretty much every hit from the lads on one CD, and even the lesser known tracks selected don't let the side down. Good sound quality througout, with a good mix of tracks that avoids putting all the hits in the first half of the disc. As compilations go, there is very little touching this collection.
For me this is the definitive collection of the band's '80s singles. There are other compilations that contain various hits from their '70s funk era but at a loss of some of the songs on this one. Therefore, I would recommend this cd, plus one that would encompass their earlier stuff and you'd have a pretty definitive collection of their best ever stuff.
