Johnny Cash's Last - And Highly Touching - Recording
This now-hard-to-get CD - Johnny Cash's last recording (that I know of) before he died - is touching and rather sad. But, good! One can hear how much his voice had changed as his health declined, his partner died, and his life came to a close. It's about loss and grief and features symbolic imagery of life and death. It's a stark reminder of mortality! I got this CD because of 'The Man Comes Around' and 'Hurt.' Both are very affecting, but very engaging, tracks. I play those songs frequently. Notable, also, is his rendition of 'The Streets of Laredo.' Very heart-rending! Released in 2002, I'm pleased to have got this CD via ebay (I couldn't get it anywhere else) and recommend it to all Johnny Cash fans.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
