Product Information

7th Saga features seven playable characters, each with their own motives and storylines, all on a competitive quest to retrieve seven lost mystical Runes. Players will encounter the other six characters, ranging from a Tetsujin robot to a malevolent alien, throughout the course of their adventure, battling or joining them in their quest. Once collected, runes imbue their possessor with special abilities, and a Crystal Ball map tells you of their placement, as well as that of surrounding towns and enemies. Graphically, 7th Saga is gritty and a tad pixelated, while the music lends a regal and foreboding tone. 7th Saga's most glaring flaw is the absurd amount of fighting necessary to gain levels and progress further in your quest.

Just as I remember. Solid game.
Has some pioneering features and an abundance of replay value, as you can complete the game as one of several classes. It's not an easy game though. It can and probably will blindside you, lest you grind like Rowley. Not sure what this "better than expected" business is about. I knew exactly what I was buying.

Great price for a great game!
Overall a great purchase. A little yellowing on the cartridge, but has a wonderful label. It even arrived earlier than I expected. Great price for a great game!

7th saga
This was an rpg I enjoyed back in the day. Multiple characters and a decent story highlight this one. Graphics are normal for the time and music is annoying as usual. The hard progression through the game is what made this buy worthwhile.

Great game very addicting
What I love about the super nintendo is the role playing games and 7th saga is one of the best. With graphics as good as they get and game play that is very addicting you will be playing for hours and is definitely worth the money to get this classic.

Classic SNES RPG that is still enjoyable

One of the best snes games
This game is probably the most underrated snes game ever. I've played a lot of snes games and this is one of my favorites. It's still relatively cheap to acquire, the graphics are good, character creation/selection is pretty advanced for its time (this game came out in 1991 I believe). It's simply one of the most enjoyable super nintendo games. It has good replay value (each of the 7 characters have different strengths/weaknesses). I still haven't beat this game and I've logged a lot of hours into it. It's very challenging. Do yourself a favor: get this game!
