Apparently, several of the townspeople have become sick with cancer and other diseases. A feisty woman who takes on big business
This is a great film and Julia Roberts plays a very dynamic role as the feisty Erin, a woman who takes no prisoners. Albert Finney is her boss at the law firm where her clothing style could not be classed as 'lawyerly'. She takes on big business and fights for her community - and wins.
