An Excellent Offering of a Great Musician's Best Album
I had this cassette when it first came out in Jan. 1981. I wore it out! Loved the collection of songs and was pleased as punch to find it again all these years later! November 2023) So it still has the original cassette liner with the cover art and all pertinent info. under the original stage name of John Cougar. It was really authentic, because this is how I purchased it all that time ago. The sound is excellent, very clear, tape works well, fast forward, rewind and playing shows no stress or being eaten up in the player. Excellent condition for it's age all the way around a great album, and good deal. Anyone who is a fan of John Mellencamp should check out this earlier work under John Cougar. I understand why the artist wanted to change back to his real name, but the work here was so raw and pure. His voice is outstanding on this album.
