Just when hotheaded Hollywood screenwriter Dixon Steele (Humphrey Bogart) begins a romance with his neighbor Laurel (Gloria Graham), the police begin to suspect him of murdering a woman he only briefly knew. Rare Movie
This was an unusual movie from Bogart's portrayal but interesting. Probably not his best role, but Gloria Graham stood out, because she sometimes plays minor characters and was good in this movie. Fascinating and Terrifying Bogart
In a Lonely Place is one of the best Bogart movies period. His interaction with the innocent Gloria Grahame is very well done and you can see Gloria slowly becoming terrified of who she thought was basically an interesting and kind person. Bogie's at his top
Interesting plot, a whodunit with some laughs. Naturally our hero survives unlike "Treasure of Sierra Madre" or "High Sierra" where Bogies character meets his fate. Gloria Grahame does a fine job as well. Ya Gotta watch it to luv it.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
