After a lengthy stay there, they move back to wartime Avonlea, where Gilbert feels compelled to join the military. He does, and is soon missing in action-- spurring Anne to travel to the battlefields of Europe in search of him.

Anne of Green Gables sort of
This is a great addition to the movie series since they don't really follow the books anyway. Even my husband enjoyed the Anne of Green Gables movie series!

VHS is still in!
VHS works fine. Easier to go backwards than a DVD.
