One of favorite all time classics.

Oscar-worthy movie and performances
As someone who lived through the Viet Nam war era, this movie brought back a lot of memories for me, Forrest's steadfast devotion to all of the people he loves is very moving; He's the bedrock for his friends when they need him, and he's an exemplary son, husband and father. A lovely movie
