Different era - yes. Same oppression - yes!
I saw this movie a long time ago and was impressed and saddened at the same time with the theme of this movie. I have been waiting for it to be released on the streaming platforms but I just gave up and purchased it as soon as I was able to find it. Sadly the theme of this movie still holds true today.
