A must-have for any Lightfoot fan or new listener just discovering his music & words.
Gordon Lightfoot is a true singer-songwriter legend. He has had a prolific career, writing pure poetry, which are lyrics set to music he composes. He is known as a perfectionist & it shows in all he does. This 4 CD compilation covers highlights of his career from the 1960s onward. A bonus is the small booklet that is included in which Lightfoot explains what inspired him to write each song featured in the set. I cannot recommend this more highly.

Gordon Lightfoot Songbook
Gordon Lightfoot is absolutely the best Canadian folk singer there ever was... this CD set has it all plus more, songs that have not been released elsewhere. It has a picture album to go with the CDs that talks of each song. You can't ask for more.

A great way to listen to Gordon Lightfoot
The order was in greatt condition! I have only listened to part of the first cd; the sound was great! I really like the great booklet that came with the cds! A great purchase that I highly reccomend!
