Another entry into Hollywood's late-1990s onslaught of romantic comedies set in high school, starring Melissa Joan Hart as Nicole Maris, an attractive, well-liked student who is on the organizing committee for her school's upcoming Centennial Celebration. A teen's movie
We found this movie to be more like a collage rather than a coherent story. Too many distractions that did not contribute to the story line. The girl lead did OK. The male lead did not seem interested in the role or else was too experienced of a actor. (He also needed a haircut. The Beatles era is long over.) The story eventually made to the end, even though it was strung together like patchwork copied from other similar movies. The ending would have been much better if the two parents had been left out of the last two minutes. These might be some viewers who like this movie. We watched it once and discarded the DVD.
