Delightful vocal group
Not as great as the Four Seasons, but the Tokens could boast of numerous hits, all of which are collected here and sounding wonderful. “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” has a timeless quality as does “Tonight I Fell in Love.” “it’s a Happenin’ World” is a silly relic but “Portrait of My Love” is great.
