A MUST READ if you are interested in the topic
This was the first book I read on the subject of shamanism over 25 years ago when I was completely green and did not know much about the subject. It is a great introduction and covers more traditional aspects of these healers. I decided to buy it again and re-read it now that I have much more knowledge and will get more out of it and recognize new elements I did not have the wisdom to recognize the first time around. It is a must read for anyone new to the subject and for more knowledgeable individuals. And a valuable re-read once your knowledge base has expanded. Short read with long-reaching mind alterations.
Really mind-opening. Wish I could have read it back when it first came out...when I was fresh out of high school. Has the potential to change perspectives. I am excited to try out the way of the shaman!
