An intriguing tale about a lawyer who gets disbarred. He retreats from society in order to write a book on his experiences. Along the way, he meets a man who lets him read his manuscript. When the man dies, the lawyer turns in the book as if it were his. All is fine and well until he is arrested for the actual murders of the five lawyers in the book. He must prove his innocence, admitting his plagiarism in the process.

A Decent Plot..
This movie would be Exceptional if it were not rated "R". If they would have skipped the curse words and the partial nudity, it would have been so much better. Within the first five minutes, I lost count of the swear words, it distracted me from the plot of the movie which was pretty suspenseful. It would have been a 5 star movie for me if it was rated PG.

Pre Katrina Thriller
Saw this movie years ago. The story line is great, a lot of pre Katrina New Orleans in it. Not scary but a thriller non the less.

The plot is very clever. the actors do a great job getting into their character. The momentum keeps you on edge. A good dvd to add to your collection.
