Product Information

When bumbling lummox Wallace Ritchie threatens a visit to his successful, handsome, and socially mobile brother's posh London flat, the only thing to keep him out of trouble is the so-called "Theatre of Life," in which participants play a game of intrigue with hired actors masquerading as spies and hitmen. Unfortunately, Wallace inadvertently intercepts a phone call from real spies, who peg him for the gunman in their assassination plot--but Wallace himself is none the wiser.

  • The title really sums up the main character.

My personal favorite Bill Murray movie. All the characters in this movie are engaging... but Murray puts a smile on your face throughout. Would recommend this very funny movie to everyone.

  • Bill Murray Being Bill Murray

One of my favorite Bill Murray Films. This movie kept us in stitch and shows off the genius of Bill Murray, he is perfectly hilarious and was made for this part. Had to buy it to keep in my top 100 collection. It just as funny the second time. Rates a 10 for me.

  • Under appreciated

This movie was overlooked when it came out, and it is a shame. This really is an engaging and funny movie. Bill Murray is his usual entertaining self. I highly recommend it. It is worth finding it and giving it a view.

  • Bill Murray is hysterical in this comedy of errors.

When Bill Murray unexpectedly at his brothers home in England to celebrate his birthday, his brother signs him up for a role play adventure to get him out of his hair. Of course he stumbles into a real life cloak and dagger adventure and accidentally triumphs over evil agents and corrupt government officials to foil a plot to assassinate a foreign dignitary. Full of laughs and with plenty of twists and turns.

  • Fun movie

It's an old movie (1997) and is slow to get going. But once it does, it is a load of fun. There's some signs of studio tampering. Bill Murray's co-star Joanne Whalley doesn't have much to do - I think a few of her scenes were cut. But overall it's a lot of fun and for $5 or so, you can't beat the price.

  • The Man Who Knew Too Little

As always Bill Murry is knee slapping funny. Playing a the dimwitted brother visiting his brother in London for his birthday leads to all kinds of mishaps.
