Good for the most part
The movie was good up to about the end and it hit a spot where it dragged and I wasn't sure if it was going to make it through. Kevin Bacon steals the show with his best performance of his career and Christian Slater is also very good in his role as Bacon's defense attorney. The rest of the cast is top flight with R. Lee Ermey, Gary Oldman and Wm. H. Macy to name just a few. It's a story based on true events, concerning a prisoner in Alcatraz who is subject to three plus years in solitary confinement and commits murder after put back into the general population. DVD functioned well enough.

Great movie, twisted truth.
