Excellent jazz offering from an underrated group
The recording quality was surprising given the age of the performances. The clarinet and saxophone lines are fabulous. I wasn't aware of how talented Woody was as a clarinetist prior to listening to this CD. The accompanying musicians, who are featured equally, are also excellent. This is a very listenable offering. Not so technically demanding as to be difficult to listen to.
