Product Information

Set in the 19th century, DR. QUINN, MEDICINE WOMAN involves the turbulent life of a doctor who makes a new life for herself in the wilds of the Colorado Springs. Michela "Mike" Quinn (Jane Seymour) is the doctor in question, who leaves the safe surroundings of Boston in order to bring more advanced medical practices to a brand new frontier. The action centers around her life, her family, and the people she treats in the local town. She chooses to raise three children after their mother passes away from a fatal rattlesnake bite, which perfectly illustrates her kind nature and willingness to help others. This release presents season four of the show in its entirety, with 27 episodes included. Having won five Emmy awards, the show has firmly established a place for itself in the televisual history books, and devoted fans of the series are sure to be delighted at this chance to own further installments of this gripping period drama.

Colorado Springs in the 1800s
I use to put this on for my mother to watch. She was in her 80s and loved the old furniture, quilts and watching the characters interact . I was in my 50’s and liked that too along with the area it took place Colorado Springs in Colorado were I live, along with the sweet love story and of the First Lady doctor and the mountain man Indian Agent. I loved learning a little more about medicine and the Indian nations.

Happy Again
I had the whole set of Dr. Quinn until I made the mistake of loaning season 4 to a friend. She lost it and I missed it! Now I'm happy, again. I live alone so I talk to the characters often asking why didn't you learn this lesson before?

Truth be told, all that happens in The series of Dr. Quinn medicine woman is reflective of America history. The history that I learned in school 55 years ago. With The intrigue of romance, so captivating. The best. America

They don't make good programs like this anymore. This was a great series from a better tv era.
