Leaving The Pain Behind!
Farrah Fawcett is at her best in this movie! The reality and drama of this story is the lives of many women who are abused and the children who are deeply affected from it. This movie brings out into the open the realization of what life on the dark side is like, the side no one likes to talk about, or those who are too frighten to speak of. This movie is based back in the day that what went on behind closed doors stayed behind closed doors. Great job Farrah!

Big dramatic tile befitting a desperate move by Fawcett's character.
This movie belongs in all feminist film study courses. It blew the secrecy off domestic violence and the early social/legal responses of blaming the victim for failing to get away, or to protect her children. Safe shelters were founded, eventually.
