Based on the short story "The Arkansas Traveler" by Schulburg, who also wrote the script.

Okay movie for it's time.
It will take some time to get used too if but it's Andy Griffith.

Was told this older black and white movie directly relates to our current political situation with the Trump monster being our president. Sad, but true, and I can only keep praying there is a similar ending in real life.
