This ...IS... Dickens!!
This is the ONLY Christmas Carol movie on film that captures the spirit of Dickens mind set when he wrote it. Sim's portrayal of nasty Scrooge is perfect... and the change of heart transformation can NOT be duplicated by any other actor living or dead. The supporting actor's fit like a glove in their rolls.
