Tense Rabid Dog Tale
One of the better Stephen King adaptations, Cujo is a tense thriller about a St. Bernard dog who is bitten by a rabid bat and turns rogue as he himself becomes rabid and turns from friendly pooch to killer dog. Fine performances all round from the cast (and the dog). Pity the DVD is 4 x 3 format (the film was originally shot in 1.85:1.That apart, an entertaining 90 minutes.
