One of the Best!
Possibly the most important film ever made. 2001's "surface story" is a science fiction masterpiece, with stunning and beautiful cinematography and an engaging script. A little slow-paced (intentionally), and at times a bit creepy (also intentional). The deeper story, however, is a masonic masterwork, symbolically detailing the entire path to enlightenment and spiritual evolution.
