Best Carson DVD
What makes this stand above other Carson DVDs is that it is not simply an assemblage of recordings from his shows. This version explores who Carson is as a person, the people and things that influenced him prior to becoming a star, and his relationships with other comedians and people in the industry, as well as his different wives. It's a very nicely done biography of Carson that includes enough recording from his show to satisfy, but goes way beyond that and tells the story of his most remarkable life. I've watched several times. Kevin Spacey is outstanding as the narrator.
