Are you ready?
Be sure you're ready to view "The Lovely Bones". Like the terrific book it is based on, this film is not for everybody. The subject matter is rough stuff.....the murder of 13 year old Susie Salmon. But unlike an Investigative Discovery Channel program, this story is told from the point of view of Susie, who is in heaven, or a heaven-like place. VERY unusual approach which will NOT be for everybody. I found this film to be well-acted, and moving....and, perhaps, "too artistic" for many tastes, and I understand that. Liked it a lot.

Meh.
The movie is only 2 hours long but it definitely felt like a 4 hour movie. It's a very slow paste movie and the acting in the beginning is very bad but some how gets better as the movie goes on. AWESOME MOVIE
I have seen this movie many many times on tv and there is so little to watch anymore if you're not into reality stuff, which I'm not. So I like to have the movies I like to watch for when I want to watch them. This is one of those I like to watch.
